Martha Simmons received her Master’s Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, her Master’s Degree in Language and Literacy from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Emerson College, where she was designated Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year.
Martha has worked in early intervention settings, school systems, and has served as Director of the Language and Literacy Program at Children’s Hospital Boston. She has also taught at both the Emerson College and Northeastern University’s Communication Disorders Programs. She is thankful to have had the opportunity to work throughout the United States and internationally with a variety of teams and residential programs.
Martha is the founder and owner of Turtleduck Learning, LLC, which provides language, literacy, and academic support to individuals and families throughout the United States. Additionally, she serves on the President’s Council of The Dimock Health Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and as a Corporator of the Worcester Art Museum in Worcester, Massachusetts.
